Both Sides now- P51 Mustang Aviation Art Print

The P51 Mustang has long since been a favourite of mine. Growing up on RAF aircraft and war films, it was my neighbour Dave who introduced me to the glamour of the Eighth Air Force, and the polished metal, bright colours, and showbizz the American warbird endears.

Normally this aircraft is shown with all its kill markings. Depiction of the other ‘clean’ side is not as common. The song ‘Both Sides Now’ is about life’s illusions and the fact that appearances can be misleading and confusing. When flying through cloud we can easily get lost and, if we can, we want to ride on the cloud tops and enjoy the scenery. If this is a bit deep for you then you can just enjoy a picture of the iconic aircraft Big Beautiful Doll. I managed to swap this painting for a ride in the aircraft itself! Hence it is on this site with a picture of me in it. It’s not every day that you get to ride on top of the cloud.
